Thankful For Family
This past week was midterms week unfortunately. Right now I am taking two online classes which include this class and an algebra and geometry class and one on campus on psychology which is a mini-session. Right now, my math class is the hardest class I am taking. It's like no matter how much I try I can never seem to understand the concept. My junior and senior year of high school I learned the same material but since it's been a couple years since that I have forgotten all the information and now have to try to relearn everything. I have spent hours trying to study for my midterm which I took Wednesday, thankfully I think I did pretty well. The hours I have spent trying to study definitely came in handy on my midterm. My other class currently is my psychology class which I am very interested by. In that class we work in groups which I am not a big fan of, I definitely prefer to work alone but I know doing it will help in the future with whatever I choose as a career. When it came to my psychology midterm, we did it in a group also. I was definitely not a fan of this since we all couldn't agree on the same answers to the questions on the test. Working in groups is definitely tricky when it comes to certain situations but overall I think we did a pretty good job and passed.

This Saturday, my family had a family reunion which was amazing and so much fun. My family from Washington, California, and Puerto Rico came for it, it was so great to meet family I have never had the opportunity to meet before and was so thankful to see my family that I haven't seen in a couple years also. Even though it was chilly out and no one really dressed for the cold weather it was still a great time. Nothing makes me happier than being able to spend time with my family, its times like this that makes me realize how thankful I am to have such an amazing family who I would do anything for. I have a very loud and very big Puerto Rican family so in total even when we were missing about ten people, my mom's side added up to about eighty people. Overall, it was an amazing day full of laughter and happiness and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Earlier today, my family and I went apple picking at Smolak Farms in North Andover, MA. Every year my family and I go apple picking which is always a lot of fun. We always start at the kids area since my two youngest nieces who are nine and two years old enjoy it. Afterwards we all go feed the animals which include pigs, llamas, and deer. Seeing and feeding the animals has always been my favorite part of going. After this we went to pick some apples, we always get way too many apples even though most of us don't even like it. My nieces especially enjoyed picking apples, they love climbing the trees and reaching to grab some. It's always nice to take some nice and also silly pictures with the entire family. When we are all done getting apples we always end the day with some apple cider donuts which are absolutely delicious. Smolak Farms has my all time favorite ones, I can never go apple picking without getting donuts also. Today has just been a great day with my parents, siblings, brother and sister in law, and nieces. I am so grateful to be able to enjoy days like this with my family.
